Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has criticised politicians for allegedly exploiting security incidents for political gains, following the release of a family of three abducted about two weeks ago.
The Governor made the remarks while receiving Mallam Ahmed, his wife, Nafisa, and their daughter, Fatima, who have regained their freedom after spending days in captivity.
While Nafisa and Fatima escaped without physical injuries, Ahmed is being treated for wounds sustained during the ordeal.

Visiting the family, Governor Sani commended the security agencies involved and called on Nigerians, particularly politicians, to refrain from using security incidents to advance political interests.
He stressed that the safety of citizens should remain a shared priority, regardless of political differences.
For the family, their safe return marks an important step toward recovery. While Ahmed continues treatment, they can now begin the difficult process of healing from an ordeal that disrupted their lives.
