The reconciliatory move within the main opposition All Progressives Congress, APC in Oyo State, South-West Nigeria has received a major boost, as former Senate Leader and 2023 Governorship Candidate, Teslim Folarin returns to the fold.
Folarin says he has put every grievance behind him, and is now committed to ensuring victory for all APC candidates in the 2027 general election, while galvanising support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.
Folarin spoke at the party’s state Secretariat in Ibadan where the leadership received about 63 defectors from the Allied People’s Movement, APM.

He assured of an all-inclusive party structure and system that would accommodate all power blocs across party lines and ultimately ensure that the APC can conveniently wrest power from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and APM coalition in the state.
He promised to shelve all perceived discontent and work for the interest of the party to ensure victory for its presidential candidate and indeed all other contestants across board in next year’s general election.
