Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has outlined what he wants to focus on if re-elected in 2027, including deepening ongoing reforms, and maximising completed projects.
He spoke on Thursday at the presentation of what he described as his manifesto performance update, where he reviewed his administration’s record and gave a glimpse of his plans for a second term.
Four years after, Mbah returned to the same podium to unveil his manifesto to the people of Enugu State. This Thursday, he returns as Governor to present his scorecard.
Mbah is asking the people to compare the Enugu State he inherited in 2023 with that of today, pointing to developments in infrastructure, transportation, education, health and security, as well as the reversal of the dreaded Monday sit-at-home.
He also reveals the direction he hopes to take the State to, if given another mandate. Mbah says his administration has laid the foundation to make Enugu State a preferred place to live, work and do business. He is now asking for another opportunity to build on that foundation, move faster and achieve more.
