Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani

Kaduna State Government has sworn-in three new commissioners and other political appointees as part of efforts to strengthen the state administration and accelerate the delivery of its development agenda.

The government says the appointments are expected to bring fresh ideas, experience and renewed energy into the administration as it continues to implement its development programmes.

Three new commissioners and other political appointees took their oaths of office and allegiance at a ceremony in Kaduna, with a call to demonstrate integrity, accountability and commitment to public service.

Representing Governor Uba Sani, his deputy, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe presided over the ceremony.

In his message, the Governor congratulated the appointees, describing their appointments as a demonstration of the administration’s confidence in their abilities and capacity to contribute to the state’s development.

The new commissioners are Benjamin Kure, assigned to Sports Development; Aminatu Alhadji, Special Duties One; and Abdullah Abbas, Special Duties Two.

The appointees, who were screened and confirmed by the Kaduna State House of Assembly, were urged to work collectively across ministries and agencies rather than operate in isolation.

Governor Sani said the appointments were intended to strengthen service delivery, stressing that governance must continue despite the approaching election season.

Speaking on behalf of the newly appointed Commissioners and other appointees, Benjamin Kure thanked Governor Sani for the confidence reposed in them and pledged their loyalty to the administration.

He assured the Governor of their commitment to supporting his development agenda and sustaining ongoing programmes across the state.

Governor Sani also urged the appointees to remain connected to their communities, uphold the Constitution and demonstrate through their performance that they deserve the responsibilities entrusted to them.
