Some customers of Jaiz Bank in Jos, Plateau State, have staged a protest over an investment scheme they claim has left their funds inaccessible.

The protesters are calling on relevant authorities to intervenen

The aggrieved customers besieged the bank on Monday displaying placards and demanding the release of funds they claim have been trapped in a failed investment scheme.

The protesters say the situation has brought untold hardship to them, explaining that some invested their life savings in the scheme and are now struggling to meet their financial obligations.

Responding on behalf of the bank, its legal representative expressed surprise over the protest, noting that the matter is already before a court of competent jurisdiction.

As the dispute remains unresolved, the affected customers are seeking the intervention of relevant authorities, while the bank maintains that the matter should be determined through the ongoing court process.
