Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has flagged off the construction of strategic roads linking four Local Government Areas of the State, in a move aimed at improving connectivity, boosting economic activities and enhancing access to essential services.
The Governor described the projects as key milestones in his administration’s Rescue Mission, targeted at rebuilding infrastructure, restoring hope and creating economic opportunities for residents.
The projects cover the Tashar Abu–Kekun Waje–Bingi Road in Bungudu Local Government Area; the Kwatarkwashi–Mada Road; and the Gusau–Jauri–Dogon Kade–Dan Isah–Nasarawa Mai Layi–Nasarawa Godel Road network, linking Gusau, Bungudu, Kaura Namoda and Birnin Magaji local government areas.
Governor Lawal said his administration considers road infrastructure critical to economic growth, security and social development, stressing that the projects are designed to improve the living conditions of residents and strengthen connectivity.
