President Bola Tinubu has departed Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for Abuja following the successful completion of his Umrah pilgrimage in the holy city of Makkah.

President Tinubu had earlier performed the Umrah rites alongside members of his delegation, including the circumambulation of the Holy Ka’abah.
He was also granted the rare privilege of entering the sacred structure, where he offered prayers for peace, security, unity and prosperity in Nigeria.
According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President also expressed appreciation to Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the hospitality extended to him and his delegation.
The National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and Governors of Sokoto, Jigawa, Kaduna, Borno and Yobe States were among those who accompanied the President on the trip.
