President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Friday, November 6, for a two-state visit to Akwa Ibom and Rivers, featuring project commissioning and political engagements.
In Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, the President is expected to commission several projects completed by Governor Umo Eno’s administration, including the new International Terminal Building, International Airport Hospital and Ibom Aviation Village at Victor Attah International Airport.
Other projects scheduled for commissioning include the Airport–Okopedi Road, Ring Road 3, AKWA-GIS Office Complex, Command and Control Centre and ARISE Palm Resort.
The President will also attend a political rally during the visit.
President Tinubu will proceed to Port Harcourt on Saturday to participate in an All Progressives Congress rally.
The event will be his third rally since the party flagged off his re-election campaign in Kaduna last month.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the visits will also provide an opportunity for the President to engage with political stakeholders, party members and supporters while promoting unity, political stability and national progress.
