Suspected Terrorists operating in the Faskari forest in Katsina State have launched an attack abducting 38 persons from Ruwan-Godiya Village in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State.
A source in the area who authoritatively confirmed the attack to ait.live also said that, the terrorists injured 3 persons during the attack which lasted about 2 hours (from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm).
Although ait.live gathered that, about 50 persons were initially abducted before 12 of them escaped, leaving 38 in the hands of the terrorists.

The source added that, he saw over 60 suspected terrorists on their motorcycles riding towards the village before they opened fire, shooting sporadically.
He alleged that during the 2 hours operation, no security agents came to their rescue, despite the fact that some of them were present in the village adding that, they had prior information of the attack.
Ruwan-Godiya Village is along the Sheme-Yankara road where terrorists had last week abducted scores of commuters.
