Ahead the February 12, 2022 Federal Capital Territory Council Election, the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Mahmud Yakubu, has expressed worries over some Polling units in the FCT that have not recorded potential voters.
Professor Yakubu bared his mind during an expanded stakeholders security council meeting which held on Thursday in Abuja.
Yakubu, says he is worried that after the demand for more voters registration units in the country, a fact finding report shows that some of the expanded voters registration units were not viable after all.

The Independent National Electoral Commission chairman and FCT Minister Muhammad Bello also said that the preparation for FCT election has been concluded and the stakeholders will ensure violence free area Council elections.
Yakubu said the election results will be transmitted from polling unit to INEC portal in line with best global practice.
