The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammad Bello says figures from the FCT department of public health indicates that one hundred percent of Covid-19 related deaths in recent weeks consists of those who were not vaccinated against the disease.
Bello who made the remarks when he received his booster jabs shortly after he recovered from Covid 19 urged residents of the territory to get vaccinated as the impact of getting infected with the virus is mild when one is fully vaccinated, adding that vaccine save lives.
Meanwhile, the FCT Secretary of Health and Human Services secretariat, Abubakar Tafida confirmed that about twelve thousand people have taken the booster jab.
The health and human services secretariat also revealed that at least four hundred and thirty three thousand residents of the FCT have taken their first Kab while two hundred and eighty six thousand residents have taken their second dose.
