Nigerian leaders have been advised to shun criminality and social vices, but live examplary life worthy of emulation.
The advice was contained in a sermon by Arch Bishop Anthony Obinna at the Assumpta Cathedral Catholic Church, Owerri.

ArchBishop Anthony Obinna in his homily commended the people for the spirit of Thanksgiving, but admonished Nigerian leaders to follow the way of God and avert evil deeds crippling Nigeria’s economy.
Some participants at the service also urged people in authority to exhibit the true spirit of God, instead of sponsoring killings in the country.
Highlight of the event was the special Thanksgiving from Members of st. Jones international in celebration of God’s faithfulness in the just concluded convention.
