A Kano state high court presided over by Justice Usman Na’abba has refused to grant hearing to the case of Hanifa Abubakar’s suspected killers.
The three suspects were on Monday arraigned at the high court following the request of the state government to transfer the case from a magistrate court to the high court due to issues of jurisdiction.
Justice Naabba of court Number 6 located in Audu Bako Secretariat at the first sitting said the state government must get legal representative for the suspects before the case can proceed.

In his response, state Attorney General, Musa Lawal said the government will comply with the directive and get legal representative for the suspects at the next sitting.
The case was adjourned to 14th February 2022 for further hearing.
Also, the magistrate court where the case was first heard will quash the case on 9th February, 2022
