Senegalese around the world from Dakar to Paris have been celebrating as their National Football Team, the Teranga Lions claimed a maiden AFCON title.
Senegal defeated Egypt 4-2 on Penalties in the final at the Olembe Stadium in Yaounde, Cameron after a 0-0 scoreline at the end of extra time.
Fans took to the streets of Dakar to celebrate and shared their delight in the achievement.
Elsewhere at the Arc Du Triomphe in Paris, fans were seen waving Flags and partying.

Sadio Mane who had missed a penalty kick in the open play scored the wining spot- kick to turn around the disappointment of 2019 when they lost to Algeria in the Final in Cairo, Egypt.
The Liverpool striker was named player of the tournament while his team mate, Eduado Mendy got the Goalkeeper of the tournament award.
Senegal also got the Fairplay award as Isa Kabore of Burkina Faso was named the Young Player of the tournament while Vincent Aboubakar of Cameroon carted away the Golden Boot, the award for the highest goal-scoring individual player.
Aboubakar scored eight goals in seven matches.
