The Federal Government says it will not relent in its efforts to promote digital innovation and entrepreneurship among Nigerian youths.

The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, said this while commissioning an Information Technology, IT, Innovation Hub, named after President Muhammadu Buhari in Katsina State.

He stressed that doing so will make the youths become job providers and contribute to the growth of the nation’s economy.

He noted that the move is part of the plans of the President to lift one million Nigerians out of poverty.

He said the world economy has moved from being dominated by those in the oil and gas sector to those in Information and Communication Technology, hence the drive by the Federal Government to have individuals and institutions, that will attain greatness and wealth through IT.
