The Nigerian government says, it is working hard to bridge the infrastructure gap, and speed up works on road construction across the country.
The Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, disclosed this during the handing over of 1.5 kilometres road at the Federal College of Education, Zaria.
In a message delivered by the Federal Controller of Works in the ministry, Finbarr Zirra, Fashola said so far, the Federal Government has completed 46 internal road networks around federal tertiary institutions across the country, with more underway.

The Provost of the college, Dr Suleiman Balarabe and students, said the rehabilitated road will give them easy access to the school.
The minister further said that the effort is to improve the standard of living of the people around tertiary institutions in the country.
