The Police in Niger State have arrested thirty-year-old Tambaya Usman, for killing his cousin, Umar Musa.
Tambaya was arrested in his village, Jaguwa in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State, on the first of February.
The suspect during interrogation claimed that he caught the deceased with his wife, twenty-two-year-old Hajo Gambo, having sex in his room.

He explained that the action of his wife and cousin forced him to pick a machete and inflicted a deep cut on the deceased’s head, which led to his death.
The suspect said that he had caught the deceased and his wife severally in the act, and their parents intervened and cautioned him to desist.
The suspect according to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, Wasiu Abiodun, will be arraigned for prosecution, as soon as investigation into the case is concluded.
