A visit to Umuoye Umerionwe in Ngokpala revealed that the election was peaceful. Voters commended INEC and security operatives for improving in their conduct.
According to them the BVAS machine at the initial time developed problem but was corrected.
The people are anticipating that the election will come out free and fair at the end though the turn out was relatively low.
The Ngokpala bye-Election followed the declaration of vacant seat in the Parliament.
The speaker of the house Kennedy Ibeh following too much absence of the former member occupying the seat in the house declared the seat vacant.
