World Boxing Foundation (WBF) International Bantamweight Champion Mary Aina also known as Iron Abbey was received in Abuja by Nigeria’s Inspector General Of Police, IGP Usman Alkali.
Aina who is a member of the Nigeria Police Force serving as a Constable under Lagos Command was promoted to Corporal by the IGP as a reward for her latest achievement as a World Champion.

Recall Iron Abbey defeated United Kingdom’s Laura Pain in London on February 18 to clinch the World Title in her weight category.
The new Police Corporal was also showered with monetary reward by the Police as incentive for representing the Force well both locally and internationally as a Boxer.
