Five bodies have been found in and around the Floating Production Storage And Offloading, FPSO, Trinity Spirit Vessel, that exploded at Escravos on February 2, 2022.
This is according to the latest update made available in a statement by Sheba Exploration And Production Company.
The statement also mentioned that there were unauthorized persons on-site at the time of the explosion.
Efforts were still being intensified to recover the bodies of the remaining crew members.
Recall that the FPSO vessel had 10 crew members on board during the unfortunate incident.
As of February 7, 2022, three crew members were found dead, while three others were rescued alive.
