Former Nigeria’s President Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday in Abeokuta said research has shown that physical fitness remains a key element to longevity.
Obasanjo disclosed this at a Novelty football match between OOPL and Ogun State Government team as part of the activities lined up to mark the eighty fifth birthday anniversary of the former number one citizen of the federal republic of Nigeria.
The match ended in Favour of OOPL, with the team winning four goals to two against the Ogun State government team.

Some of the dignities that graced the occasion include former international football player, Segun Odegbami, ninety one year old former President of Benin Republic Nicéphore, deputy Governor of Ogun State Naimot Salako Oyedele among others.
