Officials from the Lagos State Safety Commission as well as the Rapid Response Squad on Saturday sealed the business premises of Havillah Event Centre located at Oniru in Lagos Island for contravening public safety.

The action by the State Government may not be unconnected with the latest viral video showing organisers displaying fuel kegs as souvenirs to guests of an event at the centre.

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotosho in his reaction says an investigation is ongoing by the State Government to bring the culprits to book as their action could lead to possible loss of lives and property.

Officials from the Lagos State Government Saturday afternoon stormed the Havillah Event Centre on Lagos Island to seal off the premises.

The Lagos State Government shortly after the video that went viral vowed to punish the organisers who distributed fuel to its guests.
