Two suspects, Nasiru Muhammed, 27 and Abubakar Iliyasu, 25 years old, have confessed to the police in Katsina, on how they participated in killing a 30-year-old man, Umar Ankalele, of Faskari Local Government Area of the state.
In a statement by the spokesman of the Police, Superintendent Gambo Isah, the duo confessed that they were 7 that attacked the deceased’s residence with AK 47 rifles and abducted him on March 1.
According to the statement, in the process of taking the deceased away, the victim resisted, resulting in one of them, Abdullahi Iliya, shooting and killing the deceased.
He added that the action by Iliya did not go down well with their gang leader who immediately, shot and killed Iliya, for his action.

The police image maker further said, 25-year-old Abubakar Iliyasu, also confessed that the late suspect, Abdullahi Iliya is his blood brother, and they have participated in several terrorism-related crimes within the area.
Isah added that investigation is ongoing.
