The Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has approved the recommendations submitted by the Zoning committee for it’s national convention.
A statement signed by the Director of Publicity, Salisu Na’inna Dambatta shows that the National Chairmanship position of the party will be filled by a candidate from the North Central geopolitical zone while the South West will produce the party’s National Secretary.
Other positions approved by the committee include:
National Publicity Secretary- South South, Deputy National Chairman (South)- South East, Deputy National Chairman (North)- North East, National Legal adviser- North West, National Auditor- North East, National Treasurer- South East, National Woman Leader- South South, National Youth Leader- South West among others.

The statement noted that zonal representatives on the Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee will coordinate the convention process in each zone.
