Nigerian women have again been told to participate actively in the 2023 general elections to produce leaders who will advance the lot of the country.
This advise was given by the Women Interfaith Forum at its annual prayer summit in Kaduna.
The women from across Nigeria and from different religions converged on Kaduna in North West Nigeria to pray.
This annual prayer summit is to seek divine intervention in the affairs of the country in the face of socioeconomic and political challenges.
Despite being a prayer summit, the women also saw the need to encourage women to actively participate in politics of the country.
They expressed belief that women in Nigeria have the capacity to bring about positive transformation in governance hence the Nigerian woman should not just be a spectator, but also part of the nation’s political system.
