301 Nigerians have arrived Nigeria from Budapest Hungary on Azman Air at 8:45pm, Saturday, 12th March 2022
They were received by The Director Consular and legal, ministry of foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bolaji Akinremi on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Akinremi assured the evacuees that the Nigerian Government will not abandon them, as there are plans to ensure that they continue their studies.
Saturday’s evacuation flight is the sixth facilitated by the Nigerian Government.

So far 1,509 Nigerians have been evacuated from Ukraine’s neighboring countries
The 301 that landed in Abuja Saturday, were Nigerians in Sumy, one of Ukraine’s cities which came under heavy attacks.
