A forum of civil servants and pensioners, known as Adamawa Grassroots Civil Servants And Pensioners Forum, says it will do everything within its means, to assist in uplifting the standard of the state.

The Chairman of the forum, Aminu Musa, said this when he led thousands of the members, on an appreciation visit to the governor, Ahmadu Fintiri.

The civil servants and pensioners of Adamawa State, were gathered to appreciate the Adamawa State Government, for ensuring that their rights, privileges and entitlements reach them as and when due.

Prompt payment of salaries, benefits and entitlements were hitherto a herculean task for past administrations, until now, according to them.

The Chairman of the forum says, one good turn deserves another, and that’s why they decided to show appreciation to the governor by visiting him in person, to pass a vote of confidence on his administration.

Respective Heads of Units and Departments took turn to recount how relevant and comfortable the present state administration has made them be.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri thanked the members of the forum for identifying with his government and said that he is only doing his job as a governor.

He announced that catering for the welfare of the state’s civil servants and pensioners is part of the administration’s eleven points agenda, which he promised to continue with.

He tasked them to rededicate themselves to the service of the state.
