He said Sani directed him to one Furera Abubakar, his aged grandmother.

The principal suspect further confessed that he met Furera, and she instructed him to bring an eyeball of a human being to prepare the charm.

He was said to have lured a 12-year-old boy to a nearby bush, tied his hands, and forcefully used a sharp knife to pluck his right eyeball which he took to the old woman.

He said the woman told him to bring Five Hundred Naira.

When he could not afford the money, he was told to keep the eye in a safe place and bring it when he has the money.

He kept the eye ball for three days but discovered that the eyeball had decayed, and he threw it away.

The allegations of the prime suspect were denied by the old woman who claimed she does not know what the boy was talking about.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the command, Haruna, said the suspects were arrested with the help of local vigilante.

He said the case has been transferred to the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigation, while the suspects will be charged to court after the investigations.
