Some suspected drug barons have been arrested by the Delta state police command.
The suspects who were in possession of large quantities of illicit drugs suspected to be cocaine, Indian hemp and packets of tramadol were nabbed by men of the command’s raider operatives during a raid at cultists hideouts in Udu- Otujeremi, Ughelli south local government area of the state.According to the commissioner of police, Ari Muhammad, the continuous raid on criminal hideouts and black spots across the state was part of measures to ensure a safe society.
The CP in a statement issued also noted that through the efforts of the command, a syndicate that specializes in kidnap operatinh at Oleh axis in Isoko north local government area of the state were also arrested
