Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has again expressed deep concern over the deteriorating security and economic situation in the country which he says calls for a moment of deep sober reflection.
Ortom made the call while addressing critical stakeholders of of the People’s democratic party from Nassarawa State at the Benue Governor’s lodge in Abuja.
Internal conflicts within the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Nassarawa State had necessitated the gathering of key stakeholders at the instance of the leader of the Party in the Zone.

The return of the former minister of information Labaran Maku to the party took prominence.
Subsequently the leader of the party encourages stakeholders to remain united and woo other people from other political parties.
Mending fences ahead of the 2023 general election was the highlight of the meeting.
