Zamfara State Governor Bello Mohammed, has distributed 260 assorted cars, to all the traditional rulers in the state.
The distribution was performed by the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar the 3rd, at the Government House in Gusau, the state capital.

The Sultan of Sokoto, Saad Abubakar the 3rd, who performed the distribution of the assorted vehicles to the traditional rulers, expressed gratitude to Governor Bello Mohammed, for his concern, for the welfare of the important institution, which remains the thread that holds the society together.
The Sultan called on the beneficiaries of the gesture, to continue in their support of the administration of Governor Bello Mohammed, by rendering their best, in ending the challenges facing the people.
Governor Bello Mohammed said the gesture was done in recognition of the status of the traditional institution, as the custodians of religion, culture and vehicle of cohesion and peace, in the society.
The Governor explained that it is given the high esteem, with which his administration regards the traditional leaders and institution, that he decided to procure brand new cars, Cadillac 2019 Model, for the 17 Emirs, 13 Senior District Heads and 230 District Heads across the state.
Governor Matawalle assured that his administration will continue to work with traditional and religious leaders, to ensure lasting peace and harmony in the state.
Governor Bello Mohammed said his administration is currently rehabilitating and reconstructing some of the palaces of the emirs, across the state, and the projects would soon be completed.
