Nigeria’s former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has appealed to the National and Zonal Executives of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, from the northeast zone, to join him in efforts to give quality leadership to Nigeria.
The PDP presidential aspirant made the call when he received in audience, leaders of the party from the northeast zone of Nigeria, in Abuja.
Atiku who spoke in the Hausa language, also appealed to the party officials to give him their support before, during and after the party primary election, scheduled for May 2022.

The Co-ordinator, of Atiku Abubakar’s Consultation, Raymond Dokpesi, told the party executives from the northeast, not to throw away the opportunity that has been presented to them as a region.
The National Vice Chairman, Northeast and the Zonal Chairman of the PDP, Emmanuel Bovoa, said they are ready to give Nigerians a leader with the capacity to lead them out of the current life-threatening challenges.
Atiku Abubakar is expected to meet with other party leaders from the six geopolitical zones, as part of his consultations, ahead of the party primary election.
