African music streaming service, Boomplay, announced recently, that it’s teaming up with Sony Music Entertainment (SME), to expand its reach within Africa.
The service, which already has over 60 million users with an impressive catalogue of over 10 million songs and videos, is already available in Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.
According to the company, its vision is to build the largest and most reliable digital music ecosystem for artists and content creators in Africa; something that it hopes this new partnership with SME will achieve
