A number of properties have been destroyed by windstorm that hit some communities in Gbako Local Government Area of Niger State, North-Central Nigeria.
The windstorm which lasted for about an hour blew off roofs among others.
Several families were said to have had sleepless nights since the incident occurred on Saturday night.
According to eyewitnesses, no life has been reported lost so far.

Displaced persons are calling on the Niger State and Federal Governments, to as a matter of urgency, come to their aid.
The Chairman of Gbako Local Government Council, Hussaini Aliyu, could not however be reached for his reactions to the incident.
