The Bishop of Lafia Diocese, Most Reverend, David Ajang is urging Nigerian leaders to go back to the drawing board and evolve efficient solutions to the persistent security challenges bedeviling the country.
Bishop David Ajang spoke to ait.live shortly after the stations of the cross held at the saint William’s cathedral church Lafia, Nasarawa State,in commemoration of this year’s Good Friday.
Bishop David Ajang while admonishing Christians to live exemplary lives, noted that fear has enveloped Nigerians due to the current state of insecurity facing the nation and it’s time to turn to Jesus Christ for solutions to the security challenges in the country.
Bishop Ajang said good Friday is the comomeration of the death and crucifixion of Jesus Christ, signifying the bitter and sweet experiences he faced which should be a sober reflection for Christians in these trying period of the country
On his part, The deputy Governor of Nasarawa State , Emmanuel Akabe, said the Easter season is a good time to forgive the hurt done to one another.
They both urged community leaders to fish out perpetrators of crimes and killings in their domains and hand them over to security agents to face the wrath of the law.
