The biggest names in the world of fashion and showbiz on Monday gathered for the 2022 edition of the MET Gala; held at the Metropolitan Museum of Arts, New York City.
It was a night of glitz and glamour in honour and celebration of unsung heroes of American style and fashion hosted by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds, Lin Manuel Miranda, Blake Lively and Regina King.
This year’s celebration themed: Gilded Glamour, had in attendance Kim Kardashian, Elon Musk, Alicia Keys, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Normani, Rihanna, Hailey Bieber, Zendaya and a host of other celebrities.
Tickets for the fiesta were sold for as high as $35,000=(thirty five thousand US dollars)
The MET Gala held annually every first Monday in May is to raise fund in support of New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.
