President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday Night received former Lagos State governor and Presidential aspirant Bola Tinubu at his official residence at the state house Abuja.
Tinubu was away performing the lesser Hajj (Umrah), when President Buhari on April 26, hosted an Iftar dinner in honour of leaders of the ruling party.
He was one of those listed among the 18 leaders of the APC for the dinner event with the President.
Speaking to ait.live after the private meeting, The APC national leader said his visit was to congratulate the president on the Eid -el-fitri celebrations and commend him for his efforts to tackle the various challenges confronting the country.

He also spoke on the rising number of Presidential aspirants vying for the ticket of the party.
Tinubu says he looks forward to a transparent and rancor free primaries and assured that the party will remain united during and after the elections.
The ruling All progressives Congress has fixed May 30 and 31 for the election of its presidential candidate.
