The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo Tuesday attended the 2022 Eid-el-Fitr Hawan Daushe festival at the Emir of Kano’s Palace.
The vice president, was hosted by the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, before proceeding to Kofar Kudu, to witness the Durbar.
The traditional Hawan Daushe is a royal parade of thousands of men on horses, adorned with various garments and regalia.
During the parade, the district heads and other traditional title holders with their men, showcased horsemanship, preparedness for war, and loyalty to the emirate.
Osinbajo was received at the Aminu Kano International Airport, by the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, along with his cabinet, as well as the Media Aide to the President, Bashir Ahmed.
