The Trial of Chidinma Ojukwu ,the alleged killer of the Chief Executive Officer Super TV, Usifo Ataga continued at Igbosere high court Lagos as a police officer serving with the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation department (SCID) DSP Olusegun Bamidele continued his testimony Tuesday.

Under cross examination from the Lagos State Deputy Director of public prosecution, Adenike Oluwafemi, the witness told the court how investigations revealed where the late Usifo Ataga and Chidinma might have met before arriving at the Crime Scene.

The witness said while he was investigating, he visited the Crime Scene where he extracted a footage of the CCTV which revealed the presence of the deceased and Chidinma at the hotel. He further revealed that Chidinma was tracked to her home in Alogomeji, Yaba, where a search was conducted in her house before she was brought in for questioning.

According to the Police Officer, the search showed that a Maroon colored cloth which Chidinma wore the day Usifo Ataga was murdered was stained with blood. The police officer also narrated to the court Chidinma’s statement on how she met the second defendant Adedapo Quadri. From the investigation both Chidinma and Quadri had been in constant conversation according to the call logs on their phone.
Justice Adesanya later Adjourned the Proceeding to Thursday, May 12th for further hearing.
