The Federal Government has reaffirmed its determination to train People Living With Disabilities in different skills and traits, aimed at making them self-reliant.

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Faruk, said this during the opening ceremony of a three-day capacity building workshop on Income-generating Activities For Persons With Disability, (PWD), from the Northwest Geopolitical Zone, held in Kano.

Persons Living With Disabilities are often neglected in society, as they struggle to survive.
