Sokoto state governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has declared a 24hour curfew as protest for release of those arrested over Deborah Yakubu’s killing turns violent.
A statement from the office of the special adviser on media and publicity to the governor says the 24 hour cutfew which is with immediate effect is in pursuance of peace and order in Sokoto metropolis and the entire state.
