Many houses and shops were set ablaze following the alledged Blasphemous video Post against Prophet Mohammad by a Christian lady in warji local government area of Bauchi State.
The incident occurred on Friday evening after a video posted on social media platform by a fourty year old Rhoda Jatau a staff of the Medical Department in the Local Government.
The incident left many houses and shops burnt while many people sustained various degrees of injuries but no life was lost.
The state commissioner of Police Bauchi Umar Sanda has appealed to parties involved in the fracas to remain calm as security operatives are working hard to prevent escalation of the crisis.

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed condemned the incident calling on the people to have respect for each other’s faith.
He directed the police to investigate and fish out the perpetrators.
Though no life was lost during the incident as at the time of filling this report, normalcy has since returned to the troubled area as security operatives have deployed personnel in all parts of the local government.
