The United Nations, UN, has announced that 60% of the world’s undernourished people live in areas affected by conflict.

In a tweet by the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, on Sunday, the UN Scribe said in the world of plenty, he will never accept the death from hunger of a single human being.

He appealed to members of the Security Council to take action now to break the twin problem of conflict and hunger.

He called on the rest of the world not to turn its back on people affected by crisis.

According Guterres, Feeding the hungry is an investment in global peace and security.
