The member representing Kogi State on the board of the Hydroelectric Areas Power Producing Development Commission, HYPPADEC, Isa Ozi Salami has been kidnapped.
Salami was kidnapped at about 6am this Thursday morning on his way to the mosque to observe the morning Prayer at Ogaminana, Adavi local government area of Kogi State north central Nigeria.
Confirming the incident to our correspondent in Lokoja, the Police Public Relations Officer, Kogi State Police Command Williams Aya, said a crack team of the police has been deployed for a search and rescue mission.
