The National Population Commission (NPC) has officially launched its recruitment portal ahead of the trial and general census scheduled to begin in June 2023.
The Chairman of the commission, Isah Kwarra, who declared the recruitment portal opened said the commission is ready to give Nigerians and the world accurate data that will be used for national development.

The commission has in the past months engaged in training and re-training of its staff including those in charge of the e-recruitment of enumerators and other officers in the census exercise to enable them to discharge their duties effectively.
The Chairman said the commission will begin with the trial census to test the digital equipment before the general census.
The recruitment portal is a platform where those wish to participate either as enumerators or other officers in the census will be recruited.
The commission sais about six Local Government Areas will be used as pilot scheme for the exercise.
