Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has won the PDP Governorship ticket to seek re-election after losing the party’s presidential primaries.
Governor Mohammed in accepting the ticket to seek a second term in office reafirmed his commitment to see to the success of PDP at all levels.

A total of 645 out of the 656 PDP delegates across the state participated in the exercise after the voluntary withdrawal of the party’s candidate, Ibrahim Kashim who won the ticket in May.
Chairman of the party’s electoral committee, Murtala Damagum who returned Governor Bala Mohammed as the Governorship candidate said he was the only aspirant that polled the total votes of 645.
Mohammed thanked the former PDP Governorship candidate for stepping down for him promising to run an all inclusive government in ensuring the success of the party in the 2023 general elections.
It could be recalled that Bala Mohammed was among the PDP presidential aspirants who participated in the recently concluded primary election that was won by the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.
