Terrorists have reportedly abducted the mother of All Progressive Congress, APC Kano Central Senatorial candidate, Abdulkarim Abdulsalam Zaura, popularly known as A.A Zaura.
The aged mother of the politician, Laure Mai Kunu was said to have been abducted in the early hours of Monday before the call to prayer for Muslims.
Chairman of Ungogo Local Government Area, Abdullahi Ramat who confirmed the development in a telephone call said the security agents have been detailed about the unfortunate incident.
He said Laure Mai Kunu was abducted at her residence in the Rangaza ward of Zaura village.
State Police Command spokesperson, Abdullahi Kiyawa said Operation Puff Adder team have been deployed to the area to rescue the abductee and arrest the suspected criminals.
