The parties New Nigerian People’s Party and the African Democratic Congress have elected their governorship candidates Ahmad Maliantarki and Nafiu Sani by affirmation of their delegates
A vote by affirmation seems to be the moving trend as parties showcase the support base of their delegates in the state
The New Nigerian, People’s Party say they are the party to beat with a young governorship candidate who remains concerned about the state of the youth
They criticise the present APC government for failing to address the present needs of the people
Similarly, the African Democratic Congress says it is giving a new perspective to governance for the people of Gombe state
This is coming ahead of the deadline from the Independent Electoral Commission INEC for the submission of political parties’ Flag-bearers ahead of the 2023 general elections.
