Two suspects have been arrested in connection with Sunday’s terrorist attack on Igama community of Benue State, North-Central Nigeria that claimed 17 lives with many others still unaccounted for.
Chairman of Okpokwu Local Government Area, Amina Audu made this known when the State Deputy Governor, Benson Abounu made an on-the-spot assessment visit to
Igama community.
Early on Sunday, Igama Edumoga Ehaje community was left bleeding, helpless and in total disarray following deadly attack in which houses and other property were destroyed rendering hundreds displaced.
For Benue State that is already overwhelmed by worrisome humanitarian crisis this displacement of more people will certainly make the bad situation even worse.
