Twenty-nine wedding guests still in captivity after they were abducted by terrorists about two weeks ago in Dogon Awo community on border with Sokoto State in North-West Nigeria have regained their freedom.
Secretary of the Global Systems Mobile, GSM Dealers Union in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, Ashiru Zurmi confirmed the release of the victims to AIT.live via telephone.
Zurmi said the 29 victims were released Thursday evening and that they were on their way to Gusau, as at the time of filing this report.
